STOTT PILATES INTENSIVE MAT PLUS™

This course will show you how to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Matwork repertoire, for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Matwork programs as a Pilates instructor.
STOTT PILATES ADVANCED MATWORK™

The Advanced (Level 2) program begins with a review of relevant Essential and Intermediate exercises, then students learn to apply STOTT PILATES® biomechanical principles to exercises that require a higher degree of strength, balance and coordination.
STOTT PILATES INTENSIVE REFORMER™

This course will show you how to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Reformer repertoire for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Reformer programs. While Intensive Reformer may be taken prior to Intensive Mat Plus, we recommend completing Intensive Mat Plus first.
STOTT PILATES ADVANCED REFORMER™
4 OCTOBER – 6 OCTOBER 2019
9am – 5pm (Fri), 11:30am – 6:00pm (Sat/Sun)
Learn to use the various Reformer components and accessories to intensify reformer repertoire and provide a stimulating workout for athletes, dancers, and highly conditioned clients. Held over 3 days this 18-hour Advanced course teaches exercises in the repertoire that require greater strength, stability and flexibility.
ENROLYou can enrol in the full Mat and Reformer Pilates course or you can choose to do just Mat or just Reformer, with or without the advanced courses. These courses are suitable for current health professionals with prior teaching experience, as well as career changers who would like to begin their Pilates training while still working full time.
FLEXIBLE PAYMENTYou can choose to pay in full for a discount or we can arrange a flexible payment plan. Once you are enrolled and have chosen your courses, you can choose to pay in fortnightly or monthly installments in amounts that are manageable for you.
GET STARTED!For every course package purchased we add in free Mat and Reformer classes to get you started. We want you to get the most out of your course by doing lots of Pilates throughout. Then you just need to bring yourself and your course books, which you can purchase through Merrithew.
ABOUT STOTT PILATES:We have partnered with STOTT PILATES® to host teacher training in our beautiful and fully equipped studio in the centre of Melbourne CBD. STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Moira and Lindsay Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent over three decades refining the acclaimed STOTT PILATES method of exercise. The refined method resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and rehabilitation — making it one of the safest and most effective methods.
YOUR TEACHER: MICHELLE SCOTTMichelle Scott is from Sydney, Australia, and has both a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts (Dance) degrees. She became a fully certified STOTT PILATES Instructor in 2003, and later that year went on to become an Instructor Trainer. She is now a Lead IT for Merrithew™ specializing in the STOTT PILATES full repertoire.
Over the past 14 years, she has taught hundreds of STOTT PILATES courses and workshops in the US, Canada, Brazil, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the UAE. Michelle is an intrepid traveler who loves an adventure.
Downtown Studio is located on Little Collins Street in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD with excellent public transport links and parking, and only a 30-minute drive from Melbourne Airport.

Affordable weekend parking is available a 5-minute walk away at Galleria Car park for $10 per day on Elizabeth Street (until 6.30pm), or a 10-minute walk away at Federation Square car park for $14 per day on Flinders St (until midnight).
